I designed a conceptual piece that measures time through human memory and experience. The Model is a semi-functional version of a sculptural piece, which represents time passing as one forgets memories. It consists of a film roll of my memories and as the mechanism runs, the blade “forgets” a random memory by cutting it. This is supposed to represent the human tendency to forget certain experiences to time.
